FAMILY FAITH FORMATION 2024-2025
A parish is a family though not a biological family. A parish is a group of families who identify as Catholic, who seek to mature in their Discipleship through the celebration of the Sacraments, prayer, and worship; learning together from Christ, from the Church, and from one another; and who acts together, with Christ and one another, witnessing to the Reign of God in concrete ways, putting faith into action in our community as visible signs of God's grace.
St Rose of Lima Parish offers a Faith Formation Program for Families. Children, youth and their parents join together in a journey to get to know and love Jesus more and better in each one of our brothers and sisters in our community and the peripheries.
Families can register online using the parish website and must pay with a credit or debit card. The families who need help to register in person must make an appointment by calling the office on Fridays from 4:30 pm to 7:00pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00pm. With an appointment we can make better use of your time and ours.

FAMILIAS EN FORMACIÓN EN LA FE 2024-2025
Una parroquia es una familia pero no una familia biológica. Una parroquia es un grupo de familias que se identifican como católicas, que busca madurar en su discipulado a través de la celebración de los sacramentos, la oración, y el culto; aprendiendo juntos de Cristo, de la Iglesia, y unos de otros; y que actúa junto con Cristo y entre sí, dando testimonio del Reino de Dios en formas concretas, poniendo la fe en acción en nuestra comunidad como signos visible de la gracia de Dios.
La parroquia de Santa Rosa de Lima ofrece un Programa de Formación en la Fe para familias. Niños(as), jóvenes y sus padres se unen juntos en una jornada para conocer y amar a Jesús más y mejor en cada uno de nuestros hermanos y hermanas en nuestra comunidad y en las periferias.
Las familias se pueden inscribir en línea, usando el sitio web de la parroquia y deben hacer el pago con tarjeta de débito o crédito. Las familias que necesiten registrarse en persona deben de llamar a la oficina los viernes de 4:30 pm a 7:00 pm y los sábados de 9:00am a 12:00pm. De esta manera podremos usar mejor su tiempo y el nuestro.

Attention- Adults who have not received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Holy Communion, and/or Confirmation.
God always takes the initiative, seeking us out, revealing Godself to us. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God, they hid from God because of their shame. What matters is God went out in search of them. He's looking for us. God is always looking for you.
The hyper-critical inner voices of the enemy fills us with negative messages so that we may hide from God, from him who frees us from the past failures, for a hope filled future. These inner voices snare us into thinking that we are not loved by God. God is looking for us. God is always looking for you.
We just have to let ourselves be found by God.
Sometimes there are people, because of the circumstances of life, who have not yet received the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation.
Maybe this is the time to let yourself be found by God.
The ministry of catechesis would like to invite all those who are missing these "sacramental encounters" with Christ and Christ’s church to take this next step of your journey of faith. You'll have a good companion with you.
The church has a very beautiful special process designed to accompany adults who want to fulfill their initiation into the Catholic Church and continue their journey of faith with Christ.
